Frequently asked questions
How do I check if a phone number or bank account belongs to a scammer?
Search our verified case database above, then cross-check with PDRM's official Semak Mule portal at semakmule.rmp.gov.my. If both show matches, do not transfer any money.
What should I do immediately after being scammed in Malaysia?
Call the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) at 997 right away — fast reporting lets banks freeze the mule account before funds move. Then lodge a police report and report the account on Semak Mule.
Are the scam reports on this site verified?
